The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore acquired the top position among B schools in India and stood at 48th rank in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (WUR) 2024 for Global MBA and Business Masters, according to the rankings.
The Stanford GSB’s MBA gained the top position globally while The Wharton School and the Harvard Business School got the second and third ranks respectively. As per the rankings, 10 Indian MBA colleges are among the top 250 institutes in Asia.
Also, two other Indian MBA institutes are among the world’s 50 best in terms of employability. IIM Bangalore is fourth highest in Asia and ranked 39th globally and followed by IIM Calcutta in 46th, ranking seventh in Asia.
When it comes to entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes indicator , IIM Ahmedabad and Indian School of Business are placed in the top 50 for QS’ While IIM Ahmedabad gained the 33rd position and got 2nd rank in Asia, the Indian School of Business got the 43rd position and fifth best in Asia.
Additionally, as per the rankings, IIM Bangalore is the only Indian MBA among the top 50 for return on investment, in which it got the 31st rank. The institute is also a national leader for thought leadership but does not place among the top 50, ranking 57th overall.
